.@DaleCoyneRacing will run its No. 18 car in tomorrow's Indy 500 with the same font that Kyle Busch used for years @JoeGibbsRacing to pay respect to the NASCAR legend.
➡️ DCR said that @TownsendBell had the idea and that @FOXSports and JGR helped assist on the effort.
@CassieRobinett Was going to say earlier when I saw your FB post from RCR that I don't envy your assignment. I was holding back tears telling my coworkers when the news was first breaking... ugh...
Yeah. That empty feeling and being in a surreal dream like state where you’re sure you’ll wake up any minute now and it’ll just all go back to normal. He was such a critical part of the sport in all three divisions and now it just kind of ends and you never saw it coming.
@GlobeStoreSanta@ginebra_limon@RURahRah5@chrisbriem WNEP already covered all of those counties before the pandemic. WBRE was also branding as covering 19 counties around 2008. Tioga and Pike have been WNEP/WBRE counties for as long as I can remember.
They get wishy-washy with Northampton and Lehigh a lot.
@iBeButlerr When they announced stages originally, I was excited solely because I thought they'd leave the race green. An incentive for teams to weigh playing the short game vs. the long game, so many added strategies... all for not.

"Now that we've derailed this far, let me get you all the way off the tracks."
Talked about this on the Gluckcast earlier, but man…the reaction compared to the (perfectly legitimate and fair) question is unbelievably soft for a major sports figure.
South Alabama Speedway has banned Short Track Scene from covering the Rattler 250 because I refuse to apologize for calling out their use of AI in a fan-designed logo contest.
This is ridiculous but I want fans to know why and that I support creatives.

Flynn Clayman: "High Point and Miami (Ohio) are 2-0 in Quad 1 games. We couldn't get games. They couldn't get games. Akron couldn't get games. UNCW couldn't get games. Belmont couldn't get games. We won 22 of our 23 last games, and we didn't move up one spot in the metrics..."
The selection committee either needs to admit that they need to look at the selection process or just come out and say that they only want high majors. VCU wasn’t even in the field without winning the A10 tourney. They just beat UNC. Add it to Miami (OH) and High Point already…
@walkonredshirts And people still chirp about that fact as if it's a bad thing. God forbid half the sport isn't eliminated before a down is played.
I digress.
Western Michigan should've made the CFP in 2016.
Diminishing what teams do with the factors they can control (i.e. what they do on the field) is uniquely a D1 college sports problem.
Oh, you tried to schedule Duke and they said no? Too bad, should've played a better schedule...
