I’m not in support of anyone here or against (government) however the below happens to be Wike’s plan for Jabi Lake .

The government is currently moving forward with a plan to transform Jabi Lake into a world-class recreational and tourism destination, often compared to international landmarks like the Dubai Fountain and New York’s Times Square.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), under Minister Nyesom Wike, has formalized these plans as of early 2026 through the following actions:

1.Key Development Features"City Walk" Concept: The project aims to create a "City Walk Abuja" hub featuring a mix of premium residential, commercial, and hospitality facilities.

2.Tourist Attractions: Plans include a world-class waterfront with boat cruises, water sports, and entertainment centres.Infrastructure Upgrades: The FCTA will provide improved access roads, electricity, and enhanced security to support the new hub. Etc
