SA Media to Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya, Member representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency
Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya's 3 years in office have been defined by trackable achievements and enviable impact on the constituency.
If given more time to serve, no stone will be left unturned.
@MuktarShagaya Hamdanlillah. Congratulations to you, sir. We are lucky to have you as our Rep. Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency have collectively said "One good term deserves another."
at the federal level. To my family and friends, your steadfast support throughout this journey has been the quiet strength behind every effort. The work continues.
To my distinguished colleagues in the House, thank you for the solidarity and the shared commitment to national service. To the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, CON, your support and vision for our state continue to inspire and complement our work
I also want to express my profound gratitude to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, PhD, GCON, and the entire leadership of the 10th House of Representatives for the enabling environment and guidance that has made purposeful legislation possible.
That is the standard we have set for ourselves, and it is the standard we will continue to uphold.
To my dedicated team and to the wonderful people of Ilorin West and Asa, thank you for three years of trust, prayers, and partnership.
WAEC and JAMB fees paid for students who needed a chance.
The list is long because the work has been real.
There is still more to do, and I carry that awareness into every day. The people of Ilorin West /Asa deserve a representative who shows up, follows through, and keeps going.
Women and youths trained, equipped, and empowered with starter packs and working capital. Solar streetlights illuminating communities. Relief delivered to flood victims and vulnerable households. Digital computer centres established in schools.
Solar-powered boreholes bringing clean water to communities that long deserved it. Roads constructed. Two phases of medical outreaches conducted. Over a thousand bags of fertiliser distributed to smallholder farmers.
We co-sponsored the state police bill and led the debate. We pushed for legislation that speaks the language of our communities, not just the language of policy.
Back home in our constituency, the work has been just as deliberate. Classrooms built and renovated across wards.
In the House of Representatives, we have sponsored 18 bills and moved 10 motions on the floor, covering healthcare, education, food security, constitutional reform, and the welfare of ordinary Nigerians.
at every given opportunity. A promise to offer representation that is people-oriented, grounded, and sincere.
Three years on, I can look our people in the eye and say: we have been faithful to that promise.
Three years ago, I stood in the hallowed chambers for the first time, took the oath of office, and made a promise to the people of Ilorin West and Asa Federal Constituency. A promise to do whatever lies within my capacity as a legislator to improve the lives of my constituents
@MuktarShagaya Kudos to the House and Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya for prioritising the safety of our constituents and Nigerians at large.
May this menace be brought to an end soon. And may all those causing unrest on our land face the full wrath of the law.
@kwararetweets@MuktarShagaya Thank God you said people are now wise. People know those who truly serve them, and I am pleased to inform you that people are pulling their support for no other person than Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya for continued service.
