Listening to a Eurovision playlist led me to @DeltaGoodrem Wings of the Wild album and damn, what have I been missing out on? Delta, I'm so sorry, I was not familiar with your game
I know I'm a little behind but I've just finished season 1 of Yellowjackets and I'm obsessed. Misty Quigley might be one of my favourite characters ever
So she's allowed to play her violin live when other instruments have to be mimed even though she doesn't need to even be on stage. That violin could easily be backing track #Eurovisión2026
Re: Olivia Rodrigo and the Unravelled Tour - I get the argument of artists saving money by doing multiple shows in one city but in that case why do a 20,000 seat arena in London when you can do 23,000 in Manchester?
9 x 20,000 = 180,000
9 x 23,000 = 207,000
🤷♀️
(4) this one annoys me most, not announcing everything at once. There's no LatAm, Asia, Oceania dates and big gaps between dates to add more in. People buy for what's there but later dates end up better for them so they sell their old tix to get better ones instead. So scammy
(1) Livenation, Ticketmaster etc get a cut of all tickets sold right? Because it's pretty obvious they're doing everything they can to encourage resales and get their money me than once at this point.
Just look at Olivia Rodrigo's your got example
(3) tickets on sale before the album release. Encourages resales because if people don't like the album they'll be inclined to not go see the tour and resell the ticket, especially for more casual fans. AND...
There's such obvious gaps between dates on Olivia's tour that it stresses me out. Is it better to wait and see if she puts more dates in better places for me? I'm not going to London. For that money I may as well go on holiday to one of the other dates. 😩
