I’m not the best ship captain or shipbuilder. Not great at oil drilling, flying, skydiving, woodworking, ironwork, ocean sailing, backroad V8 driving, rock climbing, bushcraft, surfing, shark fishing, street fighting, shooting, skiing, ultralight hiking, diving, plumbing, horseback riding, electrical, roofing, or rigging…

But I have done all the above and much more without one broken bone or stitch.

Would I trade all that to be the best ship captain in the world? Not a chance.

Go out and do more. You can learn just about anything if you do two things:

1) give up on perfection
2) learn risk management
