Thank you to everyone in advance! This will be my first year teaching STEM, and I am trying to build a classroom library for my students. I’m hoping these books inspire creativity and encourage questioning! 💚 @DonorsChoose
I’m excited to share my journey as a STEM teacher this year! I am teaching grades K-8, and could use some help with giving my students a way to connect reading and literature with STEM! https://t.co/UkaAhdASTF
Using some ideas and practices from Building Thinking Classrooms by @pgliljedahl It was awesome to see the different strategies my students came up with during our handshake thinking task! @Mansfieldtsd#thinkingclassrooms#mathrules
@ISTEofficial “Education should be about training the mind to think, not just about the facts” and the paperclip example have been on my mind all day!
I am also going to look into Kialo! Thank you for sharing!

@DonnaMa24771424@SamanthaBahna I have not heard of this one before, but I will definitely look into this! Even when using leveled texts, student can come across challenging words or paragraphs while reading!
@SamanthaBahna What a great idea with students in third grade who are still learning about the writing process! Having AI generate one, younger students not only learn what an outline should look like and include, but they can learn how helpful they can be! #EDTC627F23
@SamanthaBahna Students can use AI like another teacher. They could ask AI, like ChaptGPT, to create notes or a study guide on a specific topic they are learning about. Maybe AI has a different way of showing or explaining that the students connect with or understand more! #EDTC627F23
