They ALL paid to get their seats, every single one of those drivers, Lance Stroll's dad has paid BILLIONS to keep his son in F1, he's still not got a championship despite his dad trying to buy him one.
At the end of the day it comes down to talent, no one else drives those cars except the drivers, if they are rubbish they don't keep their seat (unless your name is Lance Stroll).
