@MonikaCinnyRoll I loved your video but I think what we also need is for someone to string together every audio log/black box in order in a true crime style explanation video.
"8 blackboxes were recovered from the site following that recording: they tell a disturbing story:"
@BimbleWizard@roman_prophet I had conversations with chuds about below 0 back then where they would call it trash and you'd ask why, if it was the story or seatruck or what and they'd respond that the woke ruined their game with forced diversity.
But they were supposedly the only real fans of S1
-_-
@AileInTheValley@S2Cigst Actually, my favorite bit of this in the game is that you can literally eat lead and the pda describes it as being less toxic then the rest of the planet.
@AileInTheValley@S2Cigst SalCig is a chud who should take a long walk off a short pier
The moon's water is said to be explicitly toxic to humans, specifically with heavy metal concentration but also with proteavirus. Cheracters describe in detail what it does to their bodies overtime in the various logs
@S2Cigst Yk what
I'll give you hitting the fish with your survival tool in a panic should probably produce some meat sound or particle effect. Shouldn't kill them tho that's dumb af
They added the "use to distract the big dumb fish" item and then you ppl didn't use it
@S2Cigst You're not. The game is super environmentalist. It's about ecosystem collapse.
You're mad you can't kill a virtual fish because you left the distraction flares back in the lifepod.
@AileInTheValley@S2Cigst Which is not only good worldbuilding but invests the player in the existing ecosystems.
The game is about as pro environmentalism as you can be. It's about a series ecosystem collapses.
@AileInTheValley@S2Cigst The planet is toxic TO humans because of the heavy metal, but also parts of it's ecosystems are dying off. The Titan rockbore is dying, the anynome forest (which feeds on toxicity) has grown substantially and we hear about displaced creatures from previously present kelp forests
