My Teddy Bear Project
CloudPets were smart toys that allowed parents and children to exchange voice messages through a mobile app and cloud service. The toys connected via Bluetooth and stored messages online. When the vulnerability was discovered, the tool was taken down and the toy was withdrawn from the market.
In 3 months, I built my own tool to control it and give it more powers.
Hi Everyone, meet BOB 🐻 . BOB is Bear of Breaches. I have the power now to turn this Teddy Bear into a listening device. Replay it or download it. All I have to do is to activate it around.
The Goal is to check if parents asked their children questions when they bring toys home.
The downside is this can be used for secret recordings.
At the right time, I’ll make the tool available to my GitHub.
THIS IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.
This is my Bear of Breaches❤️🙏🏾
My Key Takeaways from today’s meeting with @NITAGhana
1. Licensing & Certification will apply to only professionals or organizations that are offering ICT services to Government MDAs/MMDAs or designated Critical Information Infrastructure
2. Section 23 which talks about 1% of regulatory fees on gross revenue of ICT businesses too has been scrapped.
The Minister and NITa maintained their stance that the document we were debating has gone through a revision about four times and now cannot be made public until it’s moved from Cabinet to Parliament before there will be a final opportunity to make our voices heard with the most updated version of the document.
WE WILL WAIT PATIENTLY ❤️
Do you realize what ICT means?
You think software developers?
You can think remote workers?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Don't worry. You're among. You'll understand it soon.
Using cracked apps may be wrong, but ignoring why people use them is also part of the problem. Not every young creative or IT guy can afford expensive software subscriptions
Quick update: we’re postponing our Space and redirecting everyone to the official @NITAGhana Space tonight at 7:30pm.
Hon. Minister @samgeorgegh will be there, so this is the chance to hear directly from the Ministry and ask questions on the NITA Bill.
If you use the internet, run a business, build software, work in tech, or simply want to understand what is being proposed, please join.
Don’t miss this 👍🏾
