I concluded my tour of the Tooro region at a rally in Kitagwenda District, where I thanked residents for their commitment to peace and the rejection of rebellion. It's through our collective efforts that we have maintained stability in our communities.
The NRM has prioritised politics of interest, empowering all our people regardless of religion or tribe. I emphasised the crucial role of homestead income in uplifting families. While infrastructure like roads and electricity is vital, financial stability must start at the household level. The PDM is a key solution to getting our people out of poverty, providing 100 million annually to each parish.
Finally, I reaffirmed our commitment to free education. We shall announce plans for more teacher recruitment and classroom construction.
