I’ve seen so many blue checkmarks today talk about how the magic crystals are a plothole somehow. I’m really not sure why this ended up being the big divisive movie this year. Not enough snark and unambiguous feel good energy I guess.
Curious that the people calling Disclosure Day the worst film of the year seem to also be big on PHM, while it seems like detractors that actually thought about the film beyond “too many car chases” or w/e are mostly saying that the film is incredibly messy, which is fair.
love the decision to just hold on Damon here instead of chopping it up. every character is so distinct that you don’t need to cut to know who’s saying what and how they’re saying it. the lack of edits also really sells that they all just naturally have perfect comedic timing
Prob in the minority but I love the direction that M3GAN 2.0 is taking. Probably the only possible way a sequel for this would work. It’s stupid enough that it probably shouldn’t have happened, but funny enough that I’m glad it did. Trailer sucks but that’s to be expected.
@Allodoxaa Very unfortunate that his videos spawned a wave of videos exactly like what this person is complaining about, but Quinton’s are very high-effort, even if he does at minimum do the synopsis thing. Haven’t seen the new one tho.
The idea that capitalists steal surplus value from workers misses the main point Marx is making. Marx's point is that creating value in his sense isn't a self-developing activity, but rather a self-denying activity which turns your time into capital as an alien power over you.
