@DemonEyezMusic 100%, I think there’s a lot of room for a bit of a resurgence of this sound tho. I’m a bit outside the dubstep scene these days but it feels like a race to make the heaviest riddim track, bringing back more varied structures with modern sound design is where it needs to go IMO

@DemonEyezMusic Loads of older stuff varied the snare placement up, as a heavy example https://t.co/lfZViWzval but losing the snare on the three does fuck with the halftime feel. Really, dubstep is 70bpm and the snare is on the two, so it feels like it’s ‘missing’ if it’s not there I guess
