@TilFolkvang Look into binary trees and similar data-structures. There's a slight extra computational load from re-balancing them on insert/delete actions but selecting is computationally simpler. You're going from linear time to logarithmic time on select.
@ManyATrueNerd It comes up quite often with main quest missions if you've got one of the Constellation members with you. My first playthrough I brought Sarah with me 100% (or near enough) and in the quests you've done so far she was an option in conversion 3 or so times I think.
@ManyATrueNerd By far the best crafting module I've found so far is the Deimos Workshop 2x1. It has all the Workshop things (Gun, Armor and Industrial crafting Workbenches) and a research station thrown in as a bonus. So convenient.
@Mordaith@StarfieldGame I'm getting real nostalgia pangs for when Skyrim came out a decade ago, feeling the same kind of feels and I've got Friday + Mon and Tue off to just Starfield all day.
@ManyATrueNerd I find that "proficiency at" is what really builds on it. You might have +1 from dexterity, but if you add the proficiency bonus (starts at +2, goes up as you level, though not every level), which represents skills you character has actually learnt, you can get high chances
@Mordaith@baldursgate3 On the one hand it would be cool, on the other I kinda want them to continually tease and suggest it is as you play for longer and longer as a Dark Origin char, and then in the end it's something completely different.
