@KaoS_Bluey @saabish_ @TheRealDarkSole @NoContextBrits @Tesco In the store I work in, reduced shelves are cleared around 6pm & the local food bank & homeless shelter collect around 7pm Mon-Sat & cleared by 2pm, collected around 3.30pm on Sundays. So it wouldn't work in my store as there's nothing left.

Customers just use their normal clubcard. I work in a Tesco Extra & we were told about it, even though it's only in express stores.

@SamRaincock @OrganisedPauper @Bumpkincountry1 Yeh, think it depends on the location. Tesco has 'colleague shop' where reduced items with Cs on the sticker is free after 9pm weekdays & 3pm Sundays. But not in the store I work in as it's already been donated. We can have the 3 & 4 day old bakery items that no one wants 😆

@SamRaincock @OrganisedPauper @Bumpkincountry1 The food bank in my area collects every day around 7pm mon - sat & 3pm Sundays. Anything they can't use, they send to the homeless shelter & the flowers & plants are also given to charity.

@BOATEMBOYS Is it thru whoosh? For Tesco, you have to be over 18 to order & accept deliveries. Plus, you have to show proof of age on delivery, no matter what is ordered. I know this as it's my job. 😄

@YOGrANicky @Tesco The best way is to pop a card/note into customer services or give it to her yourself. Unfortunately, complimentary messages very rarely get passed on & just go towards the stores tally 😔

@CallieScarlett @bluebellchoppy They do, but unfortunately, they can only pick items available to them on the shop floor, plus the option to notify customers of short dates on a lot of fresh items has been removed from their device. Pickers hate sending short dated items, but they get in trouble if they don't

@ETusty The pickers device tells them what sub to send. Your shop is split by department & picked by several pickers, none of whom know any of your details or what you've ordered before. They don't even know, apart from the tray they're picking, what else you've ordered
