‘HINDI KAMI BAYARAN’
Broadcast journalist Kara David made a brief yet striking response to Senator Rodante Marcoleta, who called the media paid hacks on Thursday.
“Hindi kami bayaran,” she wrote in a Facebook post.
Marcoleta made the "bayaran" statement during the Blue Ribbon Committee hearing that he and Senator Alan Cayetano led, with 18 former Marines testifying that they allegedly served as bagmen and delivered luggage of cash in kickbacks from flood control projects to several lawmakers.
I did not mean it. Ito po ay dahil sa frustration ko sa nangyari at nangyayari,” said Marcoleta in a press conference after the hearing.

🚨 Senator Erwin Tulfo will invite the “18 Marites”, Melvin Matibag, and Boying Remulla in Monday’s Blue Ribbon hearing.
Intense!
But they should add Leila De Lima, Trillanes, and Fr. Flavie as well so that they can confront the “18 Marites” face to face. 👊

‘ADDITIONAL MARINES NA GUSTO PA NILANG ILABAS’
WATCH: The NBI played a video during a press conference on Thursday, showing the alleged “second batch of former Marines” being bribed to testify in the flood control anomalies.
NBI Director Melvin Matibag said the video was being monitored by the bureau’s Cybercrime Division on social media, adding that they are currently investigating the matter.
Diba may 18 na, parang gusto pa nilang dagdagan,” Matibag said. | @MJSalcedoINQ
JUST IN: National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Melvin Matibag said he received information that the ex-Marines who attended the Blue Ribbon Committee today allegedly received P5 million. | via News5
‘RESIGN ALAN PETER CAYETANO’
| via @AllisonCoABSCBN
