The Watoto Children’s Choir from Uganda was in concert at @GFCFlorida tonight-they were awesome! These children have great voices but they all have great stories too. Many came from difficult situations but God has allowed them to flourish & share the message of victory in Christ
This is some really powerful stuff from Deion Sanders…
Colorado WR Jimmy Horn was having a rough game, so Deion pulled him aside and gave him an important message.
He told Horn that his dad, who is in prison, was watching him play.
“He’s watching you right now. He wants to clap in front of all his different inmates because he believes in his son. We gonna make pops proud tonight. That’s what we gonna do, because his son is a DAWG.”
Goosebumps. Jimmy Horn went on to catch the game-tying touchdown.

Even if we give Jay Norvell the benefit of the doubt here and assume that his comments were lighthearted and facetious, "that's what my mother taught me" strikes a bad note. In his Hall of Fame Speech, Coach Prime said that he LITERALLY created the "Prime Time" character as a means of guaranteeing that his mother would never need to work another day. Not much straw-grasping needed here.
I hate to break this to you SportsCenter but Coco Gauff was not “soaking it all in” at this moment. She was praying. She has been very open about her Christian faith in the past. It seems pretty obvious what she is doing here.
Shedeur Sanders: “This the highest passing yards I had in my life. I was just at a HBCU.”
Travis Hunter: “They didn’t believe us, but who did? God did!”
Black Boy Joy. What a Game 1 debut at Colorado for Sanders-Hunter duo.
