Your inconvenience does not constitute as reality to MILLIONS of South Africans who have to share LIMITED resources with people who are unaccounted for.
So easy to sit and type nonsense about the lived experiences of ordinary SAns about the hardships of illegal immigration. It doesn’t affect you because you have medical aid, can afford to buy still water if there is a shortage etc.
#Marchandmarch
She's talking about uber and checkers sixty60 jobs that have been documented to underpay people. When I said some of you are intentionally or unintentionally defending cheap labour this is what I meant.
What many don’t want to acknowledge is that the burden of immigration (illegal or legal) often rests on the shoulders of the poor.
They need to compete for access to schools, clinics, water, electricity, housing etc.
Since I’m in energy, I’ll use load reduction to illustrate.
Kinda of a little irony that services like Checkers60 and Mr. D are completely suspended today in my area. Clearly the “problem” may potentially be as big as its perceived to be cause why else would service be disrupted this much.
Also, the blame game on home affairs??We know that it’s corrupt, we know there are major backlogs BUT we are IN this mess because people think simply going to home affairs to apply for residence should be enough. Substantial reasoning should be given to stay in a foreign country
The miss Nigeria lady should magically get legalised because South Africa is all she has “known”?
The “chemical engineering student” should be legalised cause he came here under his parent who had a work visa from being self employed and he was “just a kid” so he must be legalised?
These stories may sound sad but at what point are our laws respected? - this nonsense is infuriating man.
African governments cannot outsource development and good governance to South Africa anymore. These sad scenes were not caused by South Africans but by 1) the government of 🇲🇼 , which failed to take care of its people; 2) governments of 🇿🇼🇲🇿, which allowed people without documents to pass; 3) corrupt SA government officials. South African people are the victims here.
@TitilayoOl87408 That is exactly why we want them to go back home so we can be poor in peace. Leave us and our problems alone you drug loving Egusi eating dirty ass scoundrels who are all over the world spewing nothing but absolute shit mug
@JacintaNgobese I am glad the station apologised and acknowledged the lies. However, you and others should also apologize for claiming that he is Nigerian and not SAn. Let’s be fair and not steer off route for the cause.
@Rushe_C The same way South Africans with genuine concerns feel about the condescending tweet you wrote. You’re deliberately downplaying people’s challenges and cries and they must just take it? Take it too mama 💕
@kayizit@Vhoyde You’re so vocal about SAn issues. Have you had the chance to communicate your grievances to your Zim government?
Leave SA problems to SAns
@ThakhiElsie@AvainAfrica@Shumi_lopondo Once went to the tigers at Century City and I’ve never felt so lost. I could recognize my country but couldn’t see or hear my people. They speak so loud, always have the hottest girls in tow and are very very rude.
@Beebii_Zikhali She chose to repost a tweet that talks about supporting her even after having seen the tweet about her customer service. It’s really simple, apologize, deliver and go about your business. This nonchalant behaviour is disappointing, to say the least.
