@NolanAnalyst It’s far too early to rank The Odyssey, but I just saw it today and it’s truly a cinematic masterpiece. That said, it’s a solid 9.1 out of 10. I have 4 movies of his ranked higher, but those also didn’t get those rankings from a single viewing. Time will tell.

Bro, The Odyssey is a MYTH! Homer’s epic poem, not a history textbook. Bronze Age armor wasn’t some standardized, perfectly matching kit from a catalog. It varied wildly by warrior, region, and what they could afford/scavenge. Nolan’s going for mythic vibe, not a reenactment doc. Relax and enjoy the epic.
