Excited by the recent snowfall, KS1 went on a hunt outside to look for signs of winter. We also used loose parts to make snowflake collages and snowman pictures. Furthermore, the Arctic animal tuff tray was used as a stimulus to write sentences using adjectives.
Inspired by our T4W text ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’s Catastrophe’. KS1 have been retelling and creating their own stories, building lighthouses and playing bingo. Furthermore we even had time to follow instructions to make Mr Grinling a delicious jam sandwich for his lunch!
Just a reminder P.E for all KS1 classes is now on MONDAYS - can all children come to school in PE kits on Monday please! 🤩⚽️🎾🏓🤾
Thank you in advance! 🤩 @KealeyMiss@KSL_Kirkdale
School is closed today due to a problem with the building. We are gutted but will rearrange all the fun things we had planned for today. @KSL_Kirkdale 😞
Soooooo proud of our boys today, they did incredibly, winning the league, but losing the cup final in our tournament today at LFC Academy. 💪⚽️💜 @KSL_Kirkdale@KealeyMiss
Inspired by our T4W text ‘The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark’. KS1 children have been retelling the story using props in the tuff tray, creating owl and firework pictures plus making model owls using play dough and pine cones. 🦉🍂🌳@_MissMatthews@KealeyMiss
Our first y4/5/6 girls football club was amazing. The aim is to give them the time and space to develop their confidence and enjoyment from playing football. They all loved it tonight, as did their coaches!!!⚽️💜😀
