And I presume you used the SGM6029C variant, as none of the others can do 3.3V out.

@toybuilder@MakeAugusta To get around this I’ve swapped the Prolific PL2303 to an FT232RL on a few pieces of test equipment that came with isolated RS232 to USB adapters. Same pinout but doesn’t require external crystal.
