BREAKING: The BBC has turned Donald Trump’s $10 billion defamation lawsuit against them into a January 6 trial against Trump
The BBC is arguing that to win his defamation case, Trump has to prove he did not foment or incite the riot.

What Joyce Carol Oates wrote to Elon Musk on Twitter. I am told it rattled him. I love it.
“So curious that such a wealthy man never posts anything that indicates that he enjoys or is even aware of what virtually everyone appreciates – scenes from nature, pet dog or cat, praise for a movie, music, a book (but doubt that he reads); pride in a friend’s or relative’s accomplishment; condolences for someone who has died; pleasure in sports, acclaim for a favorite team; references to history. In fact he seems totally uneducated, uncultured. The poorest persons on Twitter may have access to more beauty & meaning in life than the ‘most wealthy person in the world.’”
In Denmark, McDonalds workers make $25 an hour and, if they are over twenty, the company starts paying into a pension plan for them, and in addition they have a full 6 weeks of paid vacation.
Now how much do you think this costs customers? The Economist looked into this and found out that the Big Mac costs 76 cents less than it does here.
Don't believe the lies that raising the minimum wage would force prices to go up.
If Robin Williams already has one spot (which we think is well-earned) on the Mount Rushmore of comedians… who deserves to be in the other three spots?
🚨 do you understand what happened to Stephen Colbert..
24 hours after his final Late Show, Colbert hijacked a tiny public access channel in Monroe, Michigan with Jack White, Eminem, Jeff Daniels and Steve Buscemi.
Now Paramount - the company that just cancelled his show - is mass-blocking every reupload worldwide via Content ID. And the deeper you dig, the worse it looks:
- The finale pulled 6.74M viewers - a weeknight record over 11 years
- Eminem cameoed as "Marshall, the fire marshal" to greenlight torching the set
- The same day Trump posted an AI video of throwing Colbert into a dumpster, Colbert aired footage of himself burning a real one
- Mayday Network and verified journalist Matthew Keys both got blocked globally - for sharing a community access show
Paramount cancelled his show to silence him. Instead they handed him a Streisand-effect comeback 10x bigger than the show ever was.
Ryan Murphy says Madonna is the “most important artist of the last 50 years”:
“No one comes close in cultural import, other than Taylor Swift and Paul McCartney, both of whom are truly incredible artists for the ages. […] The hate Madonna has received, and survived. It's beyond comprehension. There is no one in my lifetime who has meant more to me, or had more of an impact on art, fashion, music,
ALL OF IT. Than Madonna.”
We went to a dinner as a group and had a $500 bill. We tipped $40. We were happy we can be able to give our server something, but her reaction was the opposite. She told us she assumed we're going to give her at least $120. When we asked for the manager, she said she was just joking, but she wasn't smiling at all. Idk, but is $40 tip enough for $500 bill? I just feel like expecting $120 is not realistic..... 🤔🤔
