Arsenal went from praying to get past the Champions League Round of 16 to being contenders to lift the UEFA Champions League trophy.
Arsenal went from being happy with Top 4 & an FA Cup to demanding the Premier League.
Arsenal went from Mustafi, Sokratis & Holding to Saliba, Gabriel & Konsa.
Arsenal went from Flamini & Coquelin to Declan Rice & Bruno Guimarães.
Arsenal went from being laughed at by rival fans whenever we lost to being laughed at when we simply concede a goal even without losing.
The standards have changed. The expectations have changed. The mentality has changed.
Thank you, Mikel Arteta. 😭❤️
THIS IS ARSENAL FOOTBALL CLUB.
AND IT’S OUR TIME!!! 🔴⚪
For me, the biggest difference in Arsenal’s 4-2 Carabao Cup win over Ipswich came after Gabriel was taken off at half-time. His presence had given the defence calmness and leadership, which seemed to fade after his departure.
When Ezri Konsa came on to partner Marli Salmon, I expected him to take charge and organise the young defender. Instead, I felt the defensive structure became less convincing as Ipswich found more opportunities.
For me, the biggest issue was leadership. With a young defender like Salmon beside him, I wanted Konsa to communicate more, organise the line and take responsibility. Salmon had some good moments, but I expected more from Konsa.
Arsenal had already built a four-goal lead, so the context matters. However, I still felt the defence lacked the authority Gabriel had provided, and Konsa’s performance raised questions about his ability to lead the back line.
🔥 WEDNESDAY MOTIVATION! 🔥
Don't let a slow start become a wasted day.
Get up. Get moving. Stay focused.
Your goals won't chase themselves.
One more day of discipline can take you closer to the life you're praying for. 🙏💯
Does this happen to all men when they are excited or celebrating something?
Well Mbappé, please take charge because your Kpororo is always distracting the entire timeline. Every time I watch Madrid games especially when he scores , I try my best to look away and keep my eyes on others . The white jersey is even worse . I think his France jersey is better because it hardly shows .
It’s football I am here for o😂
VIKTOR ELNAR GYÖKERES.
From winning the best striker in Europe to being bench by a then want away Kai havertz.
This guy scored so many goals w seasons ago but now he's lost all his confidence.
What really happened to him?
Is it that he lacks what it takes to perform in EPL or Arteta is not playing to his style?
My People I’ve been away for Quite a while now, Buh it’s all good now I’m here!
Appreciate my mutuals that checked on me!
Luv y’all!! 😘💪.
What’s been happening around here??
imagine if we somehow got this vini jnr guy in the summer and playing the way he’s been playing for madrid, i’m 100% sure there are people that will tell you “ARTETA STYLE IS KILLING HIM”
🚨Ipswich head coach Gary O’Neil on Arsenal’s devastating 4-2 victory over Ipswich in the Carabao Cup:
🗣️ Gary O’Neil: “Tonight, our problem wasn’t whether we could hold the ball, move the ball or control the game.
And it wasn’t Mikel Arteta or Arsenal’s style of play either.
Our problem was a 16-year-old called Max Dowman.
When he got the ball for that first goal, I saw the confidence immediately. He wasn’t looking at who was standing in front of him. He wasn’t thinking, ‘That’s a 29-year-old defender, he’s 6’5, maybe I should pass.’
He just took the ball, went at him, danced through him and sent our goalkeeper the wrong way.
You’re sitting there thinking, ‘This is a 16-year-old playing against grown men.’
And he did it again.
Not once. Twice.
He didn’t just score two goals either. He ran the game. He kept getting on the ball, turning, driving at us and making our players uncomfortable. Every time he received it, something looked like it could happen.
That’s what surprised me most.
He played without fear.
It reminded me of watching a young Cristiano Ronaldo when he first arrived in England. That same feeling of, ‘Give me the ball, I want to take you on, I want to show you what I can do.’
Tonight, we didn’t just lose to Arsenal.
We got outplayed by a 16-year-old.
And as a coach, that is probably the most frustrating part.
Because you prepare for Arteta. You prepare for Arsenal. You prepare for their system.
You don’t prepare for a kid to walk onto the pitch and make your experienced players look like they’re the ones learning the game.
Max Dowman is 16.
If that is what he looks like now, I don’t think the frightening question is how good he is today.
It’s how good he could become when he’s 20.”

Myles Lewis-skelly may end up losing his place in the first eleven because of holding onto the ball for so long and ends up losing it.
He has been lucky most of the times he loses the ball the opponents don't end up scoring and the Mikel Arteta I saw dropping Eze for not tracking back will drop him the day he will lose the ball and the opponents score.
Apart from that he is a good player with a promising future ahead of him. He was impressive tonight and I love how he has reacted tonight after his performance Vs Sunderland.
Arsenal fans are back with this Max Dowman again. We haven’t seen him all season.
We all know that after last night’s game, he’ll be going back to where he belongs, the reserve team.
So why are they disturbing on the timeline now?
