I have a new open access article out in History Australia: '‘Give it to the Mitchell, it would be there for those that
come after us’: interwar feminists’ archival activism and
the recasting of Australian history' https://t.co/grqgMG9Rkf

Nice to see this forum on Ian Tyrrell's work in AJAS.
It was a privilege to reflect on his work and to learn from other fantastic scholars' responses to Ian's writing on women, temperance, and transnational activism: https://t.co/5cOUX54GwS
We've extended the CFP deadline for the upcoming Lilith/@auswhn symposium! You now have until Monday 8 September to send through your paper title, abstract, and bio - we look forward to receiving them and seeing you in November!
We're on the hunt for some new members to join our editorial collective! We invite all HDRs & ECRs with an interest in women’s, feminist, or gender history to submit an EOI. Interested applicants should send their current CV to [email protected]. EOIs due 19th September.
New article from me which I hope is of some use in the world. Open access.
Full article: Seeing the signs: thinking historically about coercive control https://t.co/xbxVlmTrYc
My article '‘Domestic tyranny’ & ‘petty despotism’: historicising coercive control in late-19th & early-20th-C Australia' in the @womenshistrev special forum has just been published online! It was such a honour to contribute to this important forum

I can't believe ANU is proposing to disestablish the Australian National Dictonary Centre. Over the last 20 years of writing I've often consulted staff over the origins of obscure words and phrases. We need the dictionary to record and explain our changing language.
Just announced from Mosaic Records: The Complete Pharoah Sanders Theresa Recordings.
I love Pharoah in this period, and there is a LOT of fantastic music here. Full disclosure: I wrote the notes for this set -- 10,500 words.

The Australian Women's History Network and Lilith: A Feminist History Journal are now accepting abstracts for their symposium "Nurturing Feminist Histories in Precarious Times" -- which will also celebrate 40 years of Lilith! Follow the link for more: https://t.co/jpoKpVAQBX
We are delighted to announce the details of our 2025 symposium - a celebration of the 40th anniversary of Lilith in joint collaboration with @auswhn held at the University of Melbourne over 24-25 November.
Our CFP is now open! Please see details below. Submissions due 29/08 🎉
