4k @thecsp physiotherapists are striking today. They were there during Covid drafted onto ICU wards to prone patients. They ensure people recover faster and get back to their life sooner. They keep patients out of hospital. People like me don't write nearly enough about them.
As part of #FallsAwarenessWeek today we wore hospital pyjamas to strike up conversations around #endPJparalysis! Cannot stress enough the importance of getting our patients up out of bed and keeping to a “normal” routine whilst in hospital! @KedPhysio
As a Geriatrician and a fellow human, what an example of positive ageing & and what a way to go; at home, with family, comfortably, quickly and enjoying life up until your final days.
What a woman.
Incredibly proud of the team today. Brilliant teaching from our seniors, excellent input from our juniors - love a good interactive group. On call study day ✅ #respisbest@TherapiesPah
Our @TherapiesPah netball team (featuring @UoEPhysioSoc student) took on a very young and athletic side from Herts and Essex School. They won 26-22! Awesome! Who’s next?? 👏🏼👏🏼
When you leave your swipe card in the pocket of scrubs you wore in covid ICU and your colleague @EmilyClibbens is willing to go through the 6 + bags of dirty covid laundry to help you find it #dreamteam#didntfindit
Honestly being able to recognise a deteriorating patient is something I feel needs so much more education in the acute hospital setting. Especially when visiting by relatives is so limited at present. This article sums up how I feel today.
Watching tv programme with a patient in hospital bed. ‘You’d keep trying to get me out of bed if I was in hospital’ quote boyfriend of a physiotherapist 😂😂😂
