❌Limitations of Transformers

👉Transformer: (Id+ feedforward°RMSnorm) @ (Id+Boltzmann-Gibbs self-attention ° RMSnorm).

👉Three key issues:

❌RMSnorm: Averaging, projecting onto a sphere.

❌Boltzmann-Gibbs for longer sequences.

❌ Feedforward: Too many parameters

GPT: Mean-standard deviation normalization is completely obsolete when you try to use it for tensors in Hilbert spaces.
