@YuyaPecoTakeda True, a defensive person rejects doubt because they are repressing it, overcompensating. I think the issue is lack of humility or shame, proclaiming oneself right and seeming incapable of admitting the opposite. Seems like a prerequisite for a career in politics these days.

@YuyaPecoTakeda Kicking poets out of the Republic again? Moments of exceptional creativity, esp. improvised, rely on charismatic invention, b/c doubt prevents one from being fully present & self-trusting. Doubt's adjective is dubious, thus a tautology. Charisma is charm, casting a spell.
