@WorcsTravel@worcscc@myworcester There is NO warning at Perdiswell roundabout so all traffic from Droitwich road getting to Barbourne turning round and going up Sunnyside Road. Chaos.

In my experience Care Coordinators if well trained & sensible can introduce the subject to patient & family & explore current understanding & expectations. Makes our job much smoother can be discussed & agreed quicker than doing it all ourselves.
Community hospital: 5 min walk to quaint Herefordshire cafe for lunch 😍 No bleep! ✅ No on-call/weekends ✅ And we seek a locum! We can put in cons support for a ST/CT1+, or it may suit newly-cooked GP or Geris CCT fancying break from acute stuff (or anything in between). DM me!
@djbeckett Themes: Long Term conditions/Frailty/Mental Health/Complex comorbidity/Approaching the end of life? Anticipatory Care DES and Proactive Care DES and Shared Care Records are the tools for the new ICSs to tackle this very issue. Won’t solve things overnight but a good start
Not too late to sign up. If you’re interested in how to set up or run a #VirtualWard or #HospitalAtHome then this is the conference for you!! And you get free membership of the society for a year thrown in for free!!
Last ever NHS related work trip to London. Excited to see colleagues from NHSE @Dochayter @EileenBurns13@jupiterhouse1 and British Geriatrics Society @SarahMistryBGS . Delighted that future trips to London will be entirely Art Culture History Travel and Friendship related. 😊
@lucykellaway Great article. As someone who has been promoting Positive Ageing through our @ICOPEWorcs in Worcestershire this is music to my ears and chimes with so much of what we talk about 👏👏👏
@lucypgeridoc It’s madness. So much for personalised care. How do we reset in an NHS that is pathway driven and guideline orientated? How to we enable the silent masses to rebel? How do we encourage our hard pressed colleagues to engage with people not processes?
