Tech CEOs swear Americans are “lazy” or “unqualified,” yet rush to hire overseas workers on H1B visas while refusing to invest in training Americans for the same roles.
Then people bring up stats like “only 1.6% of 36,000 Indian IT students passed an IT assessment”. So clearly this isn’t about nationality or who’s magically smarter.
It’s clear that corporations want the cheapest labor possible. They don’t want to pay market salaries, train entry-level Americans, or build long-term talent pipelines here.
If these companies can spend time onboarding and training H1B workers, why can’t they do the same for Americans trying to break into tech?
Man loses it and goes off after getting tired of the ‘rat race,’ 9-to-5 lifestyle, and playing by societal rules and cycles: ‘What’s the point? This whole system is garbage!’
