Journalists are often trying to see if Farage will slip up or offer a softer, more sympathetic tone to Tommy Robinson to avoid alienating his supporters.

If Farage denounces Robinson too harshly, he risks completely alienating the more populist or radical wing of his potential voter base.

If he defends him, he destroys his credibility with mainstream voters and gives the media a massive headline to brand him as "extreme."

His answer ("If he's guilty... then it's wrong") is a masterclass in political self-preservation. It respects the rule of law without alienating the people who believe the conviction might be politically motivated.

I keep explaining this...Lowe doesnt want to win any elections, he and Kemi are out to destroy Reform, to ensure Kemi has a chance of winning the next General election, both parties are cloning Reforms pledges. He is only placing local Election candidates in areas that he knows Reform can win, he was a Tory member in 93, hated them in 2024, then wanted to join them in 2025 after he had been sacked by Reform. His motives couldn't be clearer ...
Once they have achieved their aim he will then join the Torys. Look at the evidence...It doesnt take Sherlock Holmes to figure it out...
