Another thing I appreciated was how the show highlighted that war creates victims on every side. The adaptation did a great job showing that war isn't black and white.

Don’t let the negative reviews stop you from watching it. Give it a chance and decide for yourself. The visuals are great, the bending looks awesome,I’d rather see it get a Season 3 and keep improving, because people nitpicked every little thing.
