life update: I have accepted a position as the assistant varsity coach for the boys team at Roosevelt for the fall. I couldn’t be more thankful or excited to get back to coaching and doing what I love at the place where it all started. 😌
Coaching is a calling, not just a job.
It requires passion, dedication, and a deep understanding of what it takes to bring out the best in each player in your team.
Congratulations to Ella Dusenberry (2009 ECNL) on being invited to the US Club Soccer id2 National Training Camp. The camp will be held February 3-5 in Sacramento, CA.

The most under appreciated person in most youth soccer clubs is the volunteer team manager. It’s a thankless job. And quite frankly, in many teams, they are way more important in holding the team together than the paid coach.
My yearly post for the draft:
The draft is really cool! But not everyone who entered is going to be selected today, I wasn’t four years ago…but I did not let that affect me or get me down. To all the girls who don’t hear their name called today-your story is not over!
✍️⚽️🇸🇪 HERE WE GO! Announcing our first signing of 2023 - Upper V Athlete and former @UNCWSoccer striker @harding1818 will be heading overseas to join Swedish club @KIFOrebro for the 2023 @_OBOSDamallsv season. Congrats Audrey - the @uppervathletes wishes you the best of luck!!!
Brazil legend Pelé has died at the age of 82.
The original GOAT. A trailblazer. One of the finest players to ever lace up.
He will be missed by millions.
WINNING youth soccer games does not = DEVELOPMENT. Winning tournaments, State Cup, or ECNL means nothing if the players are not developing at the level that will help them progress after they are done with youth soccer. Stop chasing wins and start chasing development.
