@delablossomoi They've refunded me finally. Though the issue still stands that Lyft allows these scams to happen. I've never reported to the FTC or BBB before, I'll need to look into that.

@lyft ABSOLUTE THEFT! My ride was canceled and redirected to another driver. The first driver has claimed I damaged their car and fined me $150! For something I didn't do! Their customer service told me too bad, so sad, this is their policy.

Update: Someone actually listened and worked to get this sorted. Thank you @AskLyft for your attention. I will be taking down this post shortly since it has served its purpose. Thank you everyone for backing me up!

@CrimChain @lyft So far Lyft has asked me far more security questions than they probably did for the driver when the false claim was submitted.
So far, not much progress.

Just found out this scam is pretty common, and easy to get away with. Lyft doesn't seem to be doing anything about these scams
