Elder has been flowering for a few days now.

Over the last few days plant growth has speeded up.

The first Red currents are ready

Wild strawberrys and normal ones were ready about a week ago (first few ripening)

Loving this rain! It means i dont have to walk round with watering cans to water the veg plot.

Rhubarb 2/2. This suggested to me that the Rhubarb is now out of season.

Fri 10th June I harvested the last lot of Rhubarb. While cooking them up for a crumble i noticed most wouldn't break down.

Organic Fruit Jam. The 3 ingredients are:
Fruit, organic: 50 % at least.
Silver spoon Sugar: 50%
Pectin: Lemon juce
That's it!

Big or small jars cool. Baby food jars would be great.
Washed, label removed.
Dont worry about the sticky on the glass, ill sort that out.

All you have to do is save your used glass jars with the metal lids that have that rubber coating inside.
