Ostensibly this was to allow them to offer short term rentals without strings attached. Current regulations provide tenant protections after 30 days, as they should, and no-fault evictions necessitate relocation funds be given to the displaced tenant.

KLAH is demanding an updated formula to LARSO, including a 3% rent cap, no floor and an end to "rent banking" to make LARSO less favorable to landlords, more fair to tenants and improve housing stability.
