What I'm hearing from this post is: "Something is enabling ongoing improvements(evolution) for increasing our/their global awareness/intelligence(evolution)"—& that you believe this is a destructive mal adaptation— is that right??

You are right to call out something that seems too good to be true because oftentimes there are shortcuts being taken that are unsustainable. The reality is that the biological ecosystem evolved a social ecosystem and the social ecosystem evolved a creative/innovative/synthetic/financial ecosystem.

The reality is that collective sustainability and thrivability cannot timelessly exist while only measuring "the bottom line"—as we cannot simply only just account for the exclusive short-sighted personal financial/ convenience economic costs while masquerading it as sustainable and good, simply because it is financially coherent for its investors according to their metrics(with skewed data) without causing collective fragmentation/issolation—& potentially intentionally or unintentionally— and unnecessarily accelerating preventable, destructive biological, social, and/or economic culling and/or collapse.

—The reality is that timelessly sustaining ourselves(as a collective ecosystem/habitat) well universally being transparent and honest to everyone about it—it requires us to holistically, collectively, and timelessly account for the 3-9 universal metrics across the necessarily a triple bottom line— using its natural bottom-up sustainability hierarchy—with the three data types, and the three commons criteria— and their natural sustainability hierarchies as well. and to do all that we need to be able to collectively transparently audit, account for, and universally stewarded/govern the ecosystem, using at least 8 criteria, to indefinitely secure and maintain global biology-compatibility.
