People can treat you horribly or mishandle you and then hit you with the “I love you”. I’ve realized that saying “I love you too” or even acknowledging their statement relieves them of guilt at times. Not round here patna. Ain’t no “I love you too”cuz I mean it, do you? Prove it!
“Love” is an action word. I won’t continue to allow people to gain validation in their “I love you”’s by me saying I love you too or implying contentment as if there’s joint and mutual effort if their love doesn’t have any action. And I mean family, friends or romantic.
For men and women, If you’ve been single for a while, tell me why or what you feel like is lacking in the potential partners that you meet?
If you don’t date at all, why not??

CNAs, thank you for all the times you had my back, prayed for me, protected me, looked out for me, took the words out my mouth when I didn’t have them, shared your food, taught me and took care of something solo for me when you knew I was running around! I love y’all! 💕
Why am I tellin u this?! Because I thoroughly enjoyed the unspoken team work that the CNA and I displayed at staring down the provider during the code with eyes of fury! We didn’t prepare to do that stare down but we were in unison! It was needed! 😳 Emotional Intelligence! 😂😭
The patient, the CNA and I were all exhausted. I was getting upset with the providers for not being more proactive bc what I thought would happen, did… he got tired, his lips turned grayish blue and he was intubated within the 3rd hour from boo boppin us for 3 hours! 🤦🏾♀️
I was really busy and had other patients but this was a team effort. I wasn’t about to leave her in that situation. The provider was not open to any meds to calm the patient down because of his poor heart efficiency but either way he was exerting too much energy.
I once had a patient who’s heart ejection fraction was so low that if he stood his lips turned blue. He was on a 1:1 because he was confused. This man fought the CNA and I for 2 hours… he was at least 6’2 and about 275 Lbs. N I mean fought, kicked… pushed, FOUGHT!
My patience was wearing today. I was hangry and all my patients needed me at once. A patient was being brash with me… I went silent… she stepped in and responded to the patient while I got myself together. 90 seconds later… I tapped in for her!
