What this means in reality is that people, including children, will either use a VPN and access sites that the UK can’t regulate or they will access sites that simply don’t follow UK regulations, and in both cases be far more likely to be exposed to harmful content. And adults who enter their ID will have sensitive data about them sold and/or become extremely vulnerable to sextortion after an inevitable data leak.
