Title I HOPE Community Resources - Title I HOPE would like to offer some notable community resources during this time of hardship and uncertainty. https://t.co/eyKGVH6cwf
It may be hard to even see the light, but at some point we will return. 'GOING to school' will be a thing again. It might give us some hope and comfort to plan for that. @DFISHERSDSU@NancyFrey & @domsmithRP have heartfelt post about just that! https://t.co/EdS3QjAi2b
@brewerhm Many of us feel the same way. Our kids day to day lives are scary enough and then add confusion and uncertainty. It’s the right thing to do, but so sad we had to take away the one safe place so many of our kids had.
This is a must read! I love how many of you are just so excited to get started on your homeschooling adventure and have all these cute spaces set up and awesome schedules, but you’re killing those moms who are just trying to make it through the day because this is NOT their jam
The first week of distance learning should focused ONLY on SEL, rebuilding faith, hope, and positivity. I'm afraid, anxious, and emotional as an adult, how do you think an 8-year old feels right now with their whole world turned upside down?

Another excellent digital resource that can be used by parents and children at home. The first issue talks factually about #COVID19 in kid speak. #INZPirED https://t.co/n0hZ1dQ5zc
@tracyrenee70 I was dating a guy who I had met online and he said at first he wasn’t sure because I was “just a teacher” but when he realized I was in special education that changed his mind. I don’t date him anymore.
Happy Sunday. This is an amazing read. Discusses how Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) affect children. Halfway thru and looks like the house will stay messy another week.
@mrbgilson I think it’s important to recognize growth. I taught Special Education and my kids never got recognized. My school created a teacher based award and I made sure I recognized one of my students every month. It was a drop in the bucket. Also displayed growth charts for 1/2
@teacher2teacher Ms. K is #1 - made into a poster with pipe cleaners and Pom poms from a student who had a very sad life. Still don’t know where he got the materials and poster hangs on my filing cabinet - it’s 13 years old.
