What’s fascinating to me is that Jews do not get down like this. In NYC, they have the Shomrim to handle all the disputes because they don’t trust non-Jews to deal with them in a way that isn’t prejudicial. In fact, jewish people can be ostracized from their communities for calling the police on another Jew. So Jewish people get community control of public safety while Black people are told they need to continue prostrating themselves before racist institutions.
I’m so glad I sat at the feet(metaphorically) of Sekou Odinga, Dhoruba Bin Wahad, Kwame Ture, & Malcolm X so I don’t think or say no dumb bullshit like this. Even Khallid Muhammad was less apathetic than this
it really does irritate me that I grew up in a Black religious group that was constantly labeled “antisemitic” for having pointed out things that people are now just realizing
STATEMENT BY THE YEMENI ARMED FORCES:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Almighty said: “And Allah is greater in might and stronger in punishment.” Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
As part of the operations to strike the deployments of the criminal Saudi enemy and confront its blatant aggression and unjust blockade imposed upon our dear people for the past twelve years, aimed at deterring them from their rightful demands and their honorable positions in support of the oppressed Palestinian people;
And in light of the continued attacks by forces affiliated with the Saudi enemy against the people, villages, and districts of the western coast throughout the past years, their escalation in recent months, and the repeated appeals by the inhabitants of those areas for our mujahid army to intervene in their support and lift the oppression imposed upon them;
The Yemeni Armed Forces, with the help of Allah Almighty and with the extensive participation of our people and their free tribes, launched on September 3 the large-scale, multi-pronged special military operation “And Allah Is Greater in Might and Stronger in Punishment”, with the objective of expelling Saudi forces from several districts of the western coast where they have perpetrated the most heinous crimes against civilians and sought to subject Yemeni territory to Saudi occupation and control.
By the grace and guidance of Allah Almighty, the operation was crowned with success. Despite intensive air cover provided by the Saudi enemy in support of its forces, it failed, by the grace of Allah, to affect the operation. The operation achieved the following results:
First: The expulsion of Saudi enemy forces from six districts in the governorates of Taiz and Hodeidah, covering a total area of 5,400 square kilometers, which have, by the grace of Allah, become safe and stable.
Second: Seven military divisions of the Saudi enemy’s forces, comprising 38 military brigades, were struck, with hundreds of their personnel killed, captured, or wounded.
Third: A number of our dear prisoners, who had been held for years by the Saudi enemy’s mercenaries on the western coast, were liberated.
Fourth: The Armed Forces, by the grace of Allah, carried out 32 operations to repel Saudi warplanes and shot down nine aircraft.
Salutations to our great mujahid army for its struggle and immense sacrifices in the path of Allah and in defense of our people and our country. And our utmost salutations to our dear, faithful, steadfast people and their free tribes for the support and assistance they provide to the Armed Forces in the battle for liberation, independence, and the restoration of national sovereignty, and for the high level of awareness they have demonstrated in confronting the propaganda, disinformation, and false media narratives employed by the enemy throughout the past days.
The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that maritime navigation is safe for all companies, with the exception of Saudi vessels, which have previously been declared subject to a ban. The Armed Forces will continue to enforce the equation of blockade for blockade, to strike the Saudi enemy’s deployments, and to answer escalation with escalation, until the aggression is halted and the blockade imposed upon our dear people is lifted.
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs; the best Protector and the best Helper.
Long live Yemen, free, proud, and independent.
Victory to Yemen and to all the free people of the Ummah.

Jaylen Brown is correct about NBA players having handlers. The truth is there are Black Political Prisoners, Black “Radical” organizations and go-to scholars that have white handlers, sponsoring, controlling and capitalizing off of our pain and suffering.
It is funny how you can just say whatever you want about Black men and it garners thousands of likes. “A lot of leaders” is intentionally vague. So in this tweet and thread below we get obscure generalizations, impositions of presentism, and the reduction of Black male radicals to abusers and rapists who just wanted domination and control. All context and all evidence to the contrary is ignored so that Black men can be narrated as savages to women.
Yet it fascinates me that the opposite is true for Black feminists, where contradictions are overlooked to maintain a general claim to moral superiority. bell hooks writing in defense of sleeping with students is not made into evidence that Black feminists are predatory and just want power. Audre Lorde battering her partners doesn’t become proof of Black feminists being abusers. And again, despite the fact that among Black couples, Black women killed more Black men in nearly every year in the decades spanning the 1970s to 1990s, Black women are not generalized as misandrists who only want to dominate Black men.
The dishonesty shrouding these discourses is amazing. Narratives of Black radicals that just so happen to align with colonial and white nationalist caricatures of the savage Black male that must be neutralized for the safety of women and stability of society.
One of our proudest moments is hosting a brothers' retreat for veterans of the Black Panther Party, BLA, and former political prisoners. This is why the Love, Land, and Liberation project is so important for Community Movement Builders @CommunityMvt
Black radicalism was encapsulated by Black feminism and the rest has been history. The field tended to distinguish itself from Black nationalism by saying Black nationalists were sexist and aspired to white patriarchy, while co-opting the idea that the most oppressed (i.e., Black women, by their interpretation) should lead.
No one found anything wrong with them calling poor Black male targets of the state oppressors of women, children, and sexual minorities, but now that Angela has been caught holding water for imperialists one too many times, folks are making it about her while failing to interrogate the theories of the movement she’s helped to lead since the 70s.
A very annoying day filled with very annoying pay-per-view, greedy ass business overlords. I literally had to re-upload this map and all of the data and images twice today.
But it’s done! https://t.co/EwnowwQ3jW
Our strategy and tactics in general need to pivot. There’s a lot of building to be done and we need to take advantage of the things available to us currently. There’s too much reacting to everything that occurs
CMB's @CommunityMvt Love Land and Liberation farm project has become a great place for retreats, strategy sessions, models projects, and commmunity work and distrubution of food
There’s a lot of AOC “Woke 1.0” types out there that see folks fighting to end police terrorism (and for liberation in general) as “crazy” times carried out by “crazy” people.
They speak of those “crazy” years the way people speak about bad fashion choices or college activism. They reflect as though systemic oppression was a season, and not a sentence still being carried out.
