Opinion on furries:
And if you disagree, you are welcome to unfollow/block/etc. I'm not here for followers.
I don't care about them existing. I have a few friends who are pups and/or furries. Sometimes a costume gives them confidence and is able to help add to their personality. It's no different from someone in cosplay to me. I dress up sometimes, I wear Louise Belcher's bunny ears, ridiculous Princess Mononoke and octopus hats, I have a hoodie that channels old Harley Quinn vibes with the hooded part being a jester hat...literally no different to me. If these people aren't having sex in public, who cares? They aren't hurting you. Sometimes people find kink in cosplay, but I ain't going out in public having sex or showing my tits.
You demonize something you don't understand. It's ok if something is off-putting, you can look at something and say "it's weird" or say "that's not normal." It's not. They know it's weird. They know they aren't normal. But if it's something that builds up their self-esteem and helps them with their confidence, how is it such a bad thing?
You don't have to like the fact that sometimes people dress in costumes, it's not always a sex thing and I think thats the thought process many people are so misguided on. Meme about furries and pups...they find it funny sometimes as well because again...they accept they aren't normal and they would rather be themselves and have confidence than be boring and something they aren't. If that's how they want to express their creativeness...let them have it. They don't genuinely believe they are an animal, but sometimes they enjoy being something they aren't.
When we were kids, we had imaginary friends and were encouraged to play. I read a psychology book once that often as adults, we become miserable because it looks strange that we play (not in a sexual sense) so we dont play anymore and we lose our wonder and creativity. We used to love to explore the world around us, and now it's shunned.
I've seen kids walk up to furries and hug them because they have an appearance similar to Mickey Mouse. It might be a character they have never seen, but it brings the kiddo joy. They aren't being indoctrinated into a cult of furries as a result.
Let them have their self-esteem. As someone who has very little self-esteem, who has attempted to end her life because of never being good enough, if they aren't hurting you or anyone else, it shouldn't matter. There are far worse creeps in the world you should be worried about. A firefighter and hailed hero I worked with turned out he was involved in a kiddie porn ring. Another firefighter I worked with, would follow women around in Hobby Lobby and masturbate to them. "Normal" people turn out to be dangerous on multiple levels so very often. Let the furries and pups enjoy themselves in their costumes. To say there is any link between publicly wearing an outfit and sex, is a misnomer. You are misguided. It's just a costume.
I’m going to miss my brother Malakai…
I heard after last nights match @malakaiblxck is leaving wrestling forever and starting a traveling cat circus. I knew it was his true calling when he showed me a video of his cats reenacting a move for move Ospreay vs Ricochet match.
