@jon_wertheim Is no one going to call out the organisations that run tennis? Majority of the doping rules are outdated. The politics between WADA, ITIA, CAS etc are what frustrate the players and fans. But it’s easier to pick on Jannik than to challenge the systems that fail the sport. Weird.

The trace amount didn’t give him any advantage at all. But it’s easier to pick on a player than to challenge the systems that torment ALL the players.

@MattA1018 @TheTennisLetter Yeah, he lost to Rune in the Monte Carlo semis. Then skipped Barcelona & Madrid. He then lost to Cerendulo in the 3rd round of Rome, if my memory serves me correctly. Of course there’s that nightmare early loss against Altmaier at the French. Overall, it was a “meh” clay season.
