You can’t just rely on $SPY, $QQQ, $SPX, & $NDX to get by. I encourage you all to back test. And what I mean is… go to the 5 min chart. Go back the last 100+ days and see how often your A+ setup worked…

For example if you back test the ORB on $SPY the past 100 days you’ll see that it worked 1-3 times per week in your favor.

But in your head you think this will work everyday.

You back test the 61.8 fib retracement you’ll see that it worked 1-3 times per week.

But if you back test the ORB and Fib on the top 8 stocks $META, $NVDA, $GOOG, $AMD, $AAPL, etc… you’ll see that one of them hit per day throughout the week.

So that’s my strategy… I have 9 screens up waiting on my setup to hit out of the top 10 stocks. There’s how I can catch at least one good setup per day.

@Leos_FxPlaybook The hardest lesson I’ve learned these two weeks. If the set up isn’t there leave it alone, even if your directional bias is correct. 0DTE will get bled by theta before you can reach your target. Especially playing $spx

SPX bullish plan: SPX above 7500 | SPX July 30 7550C 📈 T: 7546, 7576 SL 7468
SPX bearish plan: SPX under 7400 | SPX July 30 7300P 📉 T: 7333, 7300 SL 7438

SPX dropped from 7525 to 7396 this past week.

If SPX fails to defend 7400 after FOMC we can see a dip back to 7233 again.

Puts can work under 7400 this week.

If SPX pops up to 7468 and fails to hold, puts can also work.

I'd wait for more positive news flow on the macro side before considering calls again.
