The problem with where Labour MPs are on VAT on private school fees - in my view a justifiable policy- is the way theyโre framing it. Theyโre appearing to criticise parents who want the best for their kids. Possibly the most universal human inclination. A short ๐งต.
Great news. The Labour Party has finally found a woman they fancy as leader. It's a man who'll be 'a female PM in all but sex.'
A senior figure in the party actually thought that was a good thing to say out loud.

Also probably the first time weโve had a PM (or soon to be) and leader of the opposition who both look like they enjoy/relish the job rather than being pained by it since Blair-Cameron.
This goes to my theory about people preferring politicians who look like they enjoy the job. Thereโs no one way of showing that (Thatcher enjoying it clearly different to Burnham) but Burnham does and itโs hard to imagine Starmer responding like this.
@BBCr4today I'm not defending Kemi Badenoch however ...
Labour should remember their shadow chancellor calling for a Conservative MP to be lynched.
And refusing to apologise. Just saying.
This is fantastic news.
But it's worth remembering that ยฃ187,000 split between seven nurses does not come close to compensating them for what they have been through.
These were women who simply wanted to get changed at work - without a man being present.
Yet they were treated as the problem. Not the man insisting on access to the women's changing room.
Perhaps it resonates with me more right now, because I am currently pursuing my own legal case. After my choir was dropped from the London Marathon - on account of my gender-critical views.
While it is a personal matter, I know it will, almost certainly, continue to affect me professionally - for years to come.
And there is no apology - and no amount of money - that can fully compensate for the damage caused by these cases.
Being shunned by colleagues, friends or even family members. Watching opportunities disappear. Sensing even people who agree are wary of you - simply because you spoke up and they didn't.
Because people who challenge the status quo are often both respected and feared.
What I find especially troubling is the amount of public money spent trying to prove these women were wrong.
More than ยฃ600,000 was reportedly spent defending a policy that a tribunal ultimately found to be discriminatory.
How much easier would it have been to tell ONE man that, regardless of how he identified, women's changing facilities are for women?
These nurses should never have had to fight this battle in the first place.
Tomorrow the 25th June is Global @thebeatles Day! โค๏ธ
A truly special day to celebrate the music of The Beatles, expect to hear some Beatles on our shop playlist for the day ๐ถ
We'll have these beautiful free badges to give away so pop in tomorrow & grab yourself one! ๐
A comprehensive win for women. Will the First Minister apologise for the unlawful treatment imposed on female prisoners by his government? @ForWomenScot ๐๐๐

One of those things that never happens if you open up women's changing rooms to any man who wants to come inside has happened. Again.

It is NOT ok to experiment on kids as young as 11 and make irreversible changes to their bodies.
We must protect children from dangerous ideology.
Conservatives will not just sit back and let this happen. I refuse to believe MPs, if given the chance, would let this continue. That is why we will force a vote, not just to pause this trial but to stop it completely.
This is HUGE! Prisons were always going to be way harder than sports. Thank you @ForWomenScot!!!! The most disenfranchised women in the UK will thank you for this x
