@markklfc He hooked his arm around him. Look at it again; if he had not hooked himself on, he would have gotten past him and been in a better position. But the two bad penalties lost you the game, not the ref.
@SkyFootball If he had not gotten hold of the PSG player, he actually got past him. He might have been in a better position.
They had the chance on penalties but lost by two poor ones.
You can blame the ref all day, but the penalties cost Arsenal the trophy.
@BBCMOTD No, the AFC player contributed to the 50/50 pushing and pulling. Look closely; his arm is wrapped around the PSG player, and Saka should have run to take the corner. He chose to walk, so the ref blew halftime.
@TheFootyFeed The ref told Saka to be quick, so he slowly walked to the corner flag. He should have run and got the ball over faster to get a second goal before halftime, but he ignored the ref, so the ref blew for halftime. As for the penalty if the afc player had not wrapped his arm him ?
@LucasDigne All the best in the World Cup, but I hope it's a runner-up medal, mate. You have had a great season. Enjoy the World Cup, but I do hope you watch England lift it. See you next season, @AVFCOfficial.
@EzriKonsa A few words I am still ready, but it's great reading and a true insight into the dedicated, hard life a footballer goes through, and as a fan, we don't see that side of it. As fans at Villa, we will criticize when it's poor, but we will always believe VTID.
@SkySportsNews I think it's harsh on the players and fans, but why do this when you could watch previous games and know the rules were in place after Leeds United did it? Sorry #sfc, but you have to blame the person who sanctioned this.
