It’s official.
Liberty Alliance USA has endorsed YES on Amendment 4.
If you want to rewrite Missouri’s Constitution, you should have to earn support from across Missouri.
Not just Kansas City.
Not just St. Louis.
Not just a flood of out-of-state money.
Vote #YesOn4.

.@MOREALTORS set to oppose phasing out MO income tax, per the indefatigable @missouriscout. Your average realtor here would take home ~30% more under reduced taxes and resulting higher home sale prices. Looking forward to explaining to member realtors how their trade group is selling them and their families out!
China is helping to bankroll two of the most disruptive protest movements in America today — one dedicated to destroying Israel, the other to strangling U.S. artificial intelligence development — and investigators say a network helping to fund both movements traces back to the Chinese Communist Party.
The antizionist hate marches featuring keffiyeh-wearing agitators outside American synagogues, and the AI data center protests featuring activists blocking entrances to proposed server farms across the midwest, may on their surface seem worlds apart.
They are anything but.

As debate over controversial data center development projects and land use intensified in Jefferson County, Mo., activist Travis Layton emerged as an outspoken figure in local political organizing through the “Wake Up Jeffco” network, playing a visible role in those battles.
At the same time, watchdog researchers and extremism-monitoring groups were identifying Layton in connection with the Goyim Defense League, a neo-Nazi network known for targeting synagogues, distributing racist propaganda targeting Jews, and staging bigoted intimidation campaigns against Jewish communities across the U.S.

Kansas City, Missouri’s annual Ethnic Enrichment Festival began in 1979 as a joyful celebration of diversity, a place where residents came together to share food, art, and heritage during a three-day, taxpayer-supported event. For nearly half a century, the gathering has drawn large crowds seeking lighthearted family fun and entertainment.
That changed in August when the two entities that run the festival, the Ethnic Enrichment Commission of Kansas City (EEC) and the Kansas City Parks and Recreation Department, allowed the formerly non-political event to be subsumed by the antizionist hate movement.
At last summer’s 46th annual festival, held at Swope Park and funded in part through city neighborhood tourism development funds, a new Palestine booth offered food, cultural displays, and something decidedly offensive: the systematic erasure of more than three thousand years of Jewish history, presented as an innocent heritage celebration to families pushing strollers and children collecting passport stamps. The booth’s messaging was polished and coordinated, planned carefully by its operator, anti-Israel activist and Kansas City realtor Samantha Salem, with the help of EEC leaders.
The anti-Israel propaganda effort at last year’s festival, revealed here for the first time by AO7, is part of a broader, coordinated campaign to embed anti-Israel ideology in Kansas City’s publicly owned spaces and, increasingly, to spend city money on events and voices that racially demonize Israel, Israelis, and “Zionists.”

Today, we celebrate the birth of Missouri’s own Harry S. Truman. The 33rd President of the United States was born in 1884 in Lamar, Missouri and grew up in Independence. Happy Truman Day! #moleg
Believe it or not, I have had Republican legislators tell me the Missouri NEA lobbyist is secretly pushing school choice.
No, seriously. I snort-laughed, too.
And then you see the him out here trying to scare people into not wanting the government to cap spending.
THE UNIONS ARE NOT YOUR FRIEND.

Hahahaha
Rep. Ray Reed talking about all his rich school districts and how they don't want money going to private schools in the House floor debate about Budget Bill 2012 which includes funding for school choice.
So apparently they don't care about poor people. The wealthy can have school choice. But the poor have to suck it up and stay stuck.
It will be interesting to see if Reed can keep his seat. He's really not good at this.

#MOleg voted to protect the entrenched #education interests that denies #transparency in education and denies parents the ability to make the best, informed decisions about their child’s education. Missouri parents must keep demanding greater access to what is taking place in their kids’ classrooms. The fight for #edfreedom is not over.
The @MissouriSenate must step up and pass the Missouri REINS Act. #MOleg should have the final word on regulations that have a major impact on the state's economy. https://t.co/5DRhEbeai2
A Missouri leftist who calls herself a conservative has been going after me and my org with made up claims about data centers for the last week.
Obsessively posting about us. (And thus creating a need for more data centers.)
We’ve always wondered who funds her…
Property tax reform shouldn’t be complicated. Key reforms included in SB 1066 require any change to a local tax levy be applied equally across all property subclasses. No picking winners and losers. No shifting the burden behind the scenes. If a local government lowers its tax rate, that reduction carries forward into the next reassessment year. #moleg https://t.co/7Mw8wn6HPH
Welcome news for Missouri and America's heartland.
Missouri is proud to be a part of @USDA's efforts to bring resources and experts closer to America's farmers, ranchers, and land grant universities.
As a state we should be doing everything we can to make sure all our children can read at a proficient level. This year #Missouri has a chance to implement meaningful early literacy reform. Rep. @CJheartart's HB 2872 passed the Senate #Education Committee. #MOleg can ensure every school in our state makes literacy a priority at a young age with the passage of this needed #edreform.
Fear knows no ideological boundaries. We all saw how people acted during the covid scare. And, yes, that was largely the 'left'.
But the 'right' is just as guilty - just on different issues.
Some people on the right are going to stoke the fear of data centers in their campaigns. They will be dishonest about them. They won't care to find out what should be done to make sure data center proposals are handled correctly. And they throw out all personal property rights for the individuals selling the land out the window.
Many in the party of 'facts don't care about your feelings' are all about their feels on this issue.
