The first episode of my podcast is out and my first guest is Maine legend Bill Green!
I ask him about the "good ole days" of TV, what spot in Maine took his breath away the first time he saw it, and if he was surprised by the reaction to his endorsement of Susan Collins in 2020.
The podcast that NO ONE asked for launches this week!
I've actually wanted to do a podcast since about 2020 but now that I'm retired from TV, I'm excited to launch this show where I can explore all kinds of topics with interesting guests.
First drop this early this week.
@ryanweather@ericfisher@weathertrader Im just dropping in to say I’m noticing Ryan isn’t taking the bet. Ok back to not being on X for another 14 days.
@theperpetuity There's a bill called LD 1730 that will eliminate all that hassle so you can just buy one of these panels and plug it in. It has good bipartisan support because it just makes sense)
@theperpetuity Sorry I forgot to attach the context: (There IS a point here! Right now if you wanted to use one of these portable solar panels in Maine you'd have to fill out a long application and submit it to CMP/Versant etc and pay a $290 fee...but...
@SHELBYGT14 I don't see the map in that. Top of the EIA government page today is a graph that shows the wholesale nat gas price chart. See my previous point?

The average electricity bill for a Maine CMP customer has gone up nearly $70 a month since 2020. What is the reason for the increase? I break it down with concrete numbers- not opinions and hot takes.
