That assumes people have the time, money, or stability to spend years mastering every craft tied to their ideas. Most people with bills and responsibilities don’t have the luxury of becoming professional woodworkers, filmmakers, composers, artists, and writers simultaneously just to express creativity. “Just pay someone” is also a pretty wild solution in an economy where people are trying to justify eggs and half a tank of gas without taking out a small business loan. Sometimes tools exist to help bridge the gap between imagination and execution. People still want to create despite limited time, money, or access to specialized skills.
We have already been replaced. We might as well be just cogs in someone else's machine. I heard this quote a while back and it still lands for me: Chase your dreams or someone else will hire you to chase theirs. Being replaced only matters if you are chasing someone elses dreams. If you chasing yours, then use the tools.
@AnthonyLaFauci Alot of puase words. I would add (if females are present) a feeling of trying to 1-up other males through "Talking smart" but guy talk. So, sports or war stuff. Have them micro flexing bc its all about display. Words are the last resort lol.
@SDDonovan Facts. I usually have to go back in time (My earlier chapters) to revise them anyway because now that Apple has a destiny in Act III. He can't eat it, it must be taken in his Right lower pants pocket lol
@sarabushway Ill take any medium as long as there is a review to help create momentum. Not here for the money just the joy of telling a story to someone who wants to read it.
@Rippalorian When do you stop? How might you construct a two/three part book so they all feel purposely connected and planned? Or when to cut a book down into parts if it is long. Just some ideas of the rip.
This is all subjective, but I ended a scene with a Character saying "What's the worse that can happen?" after presenting a very bad but desperate idea. The next chapter is a cut straight into the thick of it. It makes me laugh bc I can clearly see the comedic timing and mental visauls lol
@Mary_ork I have several WIPs. One is a follow on to a published book. The others is an Alt-His post American Rev, Noir Detective/Cosmic Horror, a follow on to another published book, and a few others in lesser stages.
