@MrZachG Years ago, I had my math department chair walk classes with me. After the day, he said, "oh my, these are my colleagues and some I call friends, but yikes."
@sage_stage Is your class a grad requirement? If so, and she has failed then no. Unless your board policy allows students to walk if they only need to make up two classes in summer school...then she walks but doesn't get a diploma until she passes the class.
Pretty simple process...for example, I have 200 students enrolled in Chemistry for the next year and only have 180 books, then we are short and the librarian let's the District know the shortage...the shortage is padded slightly to accommodate students who enter the school new over the summer. Conversely, if I have only 180 chemistry students enrolled but 200 books then 20 relative new books sit on the shelf.
The numbers fluctuate with enrollment from year to year.
