It’s halftime in Mexico City at the first match of the 2026 World Cup. Mexico leads South Africa 1-0. Will Mexico hold on to their lead, or will South Africa pull off a come from behind win? #FIFAWorldCup
After eight minutes, Mexico becomes the first team to score a goal at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. How many more goals will Mexico score? Will South Africa score a goal? #FIFAWorldCup26
The 2026 FIFA World Cup has kicked off in Mexico City. Out of 48 teams, may be the best one win it all. Despite all of the controversy surrounding this year’s edition, let’s have a great World Cup! #FIFAWorldCup26
I’ve made it home in time to see the opening kickoff of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Kickoff will occur shortly at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City. #FIFAWorldCup
Less than 24 hours until the 2026 FIFA World Cup begins. Hopefully, I can make it home in time from work to see the opening kickoff between Mexico and South Africa from Azteca Stadium in Mexico City at 3:00 PM EDT. #FIFAWorldCup
The stadium in Canada that needs a better generic name for the 2026 FIFA World Cup is in Toronto. Toronto Stadium should be called Exhibition Place Stadium. #FIFAWorldCup
Continuing the theme on better 2026 FIFA World Cup stadium names: Philadelphia Stadium should be called South Philadelphia Sports Complex, San Francisco Bay Area Stadium should be called Santa Clara Stadium (the actual city the stadium is in) #FIFAWorldCup
Continuing the theme on better 2026 FIFA World Cup better generic stadium names: Miami Stadium should be called Miami Gardens Stadium (the actual city the stadium is located), New York/New Jersey Stadium should be called Meadowlands Stadium #FIFAWorldCup
Personally, I think a few of the generic names for some of the stadiums hosting matches during the 2026 #FIFAWorldCup could be better. Here in the United States, Boston Stadium should be called New England Stadium, Dallas Stadium should be called Dallas Metroplex Stadium
@FreddyLA7 You got one of the best things to get at the Waffle House. Nothing beats Waffle House hashbrowns, especially a Cheesesteak Melt Hashbrown Bowl.
I’m now home from a fun night of races at North Georgia Speedway. It really was a fun night of dirt track races. My next race will be the SRO America weekend at the Michelin Raceway at Road Atlanta on June 13-14. That’ll be a fun two days of sports car racing.
I’m here at North Georgia Speedway waiting for the start of tonight’s dirt track races, Southern style. It’s a warm evening here, so that must mean it’s June in the South.
I loved the NASCAR exhibit here at the Savoy Automobile Museum. A total of 144 photos were taken of the cars in the exhibit. It was neat to see the more recent stock cars be exhibited with race wear. My next visit here will be on Saturday, June 20.
I’m back at the Savoy Automobile Museum to see the newest exhibit “From Stock Cars to Race Cars”. This is an exhibit that I’ve been looking forward to as it’s a NASCAR themed exhibit.
It’s been such a long time since I put together a model car that I forgot how challenging it can be. I wasn’t able to finish my 1:24 scale model of an Aston Martin DB5, so I’ll continue working on it tomorrow morning. I’ll be back to the Savoy Automobile Museum tomorrow.
I’m at the Savoy Automobile Museum for the first ever Sip and Snap event. This evening, I’ll be putting together an Aston Martin DB5 1:24 scale model car that was featured in the James Bond movie “Goldfinger”.
I got some good pictures of the engines in the outgoing “Corvette-The Early Years” exhibit here at the Savoy Automobile Museum. My next visit will be on Friday, June 5 for the museum’s first ever “Sip and Snap” event.
