While getting older is a blessing, one of the devastating aspects of it is the fact that the older you get the more people you know die. With that said, those deaths—and especially sudden ones like that of #GarretAnderson—provide us all with two very important reminders!
On Saturday, Arizona will be playing for its first trip to the Final Four since 2001 under Lute Olson.
The same day, Iowa will be playing for its first trip to the Final Four since 1980, when it was coached by Lute Olson.

All six teams that tied for second place in the Sun Belt lost their first game in the tournament. Turns out the seeding didn't matter after all. We have 10-seed Georgia Southern trying to win 6 games in 6 days for the title (vs. 1-seed Troy on Monday).
@WxmanTony The "first year in the conf." part was incorrect, by the way, but they were still not allowed to participate in the conference tourney at that point. Just wanted to be clear on that, in case you cared. :-)
With conference tournament season upon us, here's a look at some recent trends about which ones have featured the most and least chaos: https://t.co/YB3iquk0La
@WxmanTony Thank you, Tony. I don't write Bubble Watch, but I can pass that along, as I remember that Utah State team. Another with <4 losses that was left out was College of Charleston in 1996. It wasn't eligible for the TAAC tourney (first year in the conf.) and didn't get an at-large bid
From ESPN Research:
The Rams trailed by 11 in this game. They have two double-digit comebacks in the playoffs:
-- Both are under Sean McVay
-- Both were in an NFC Championship Game
@MicheleSteele May this next chapter be rewarding and joyful. Back in your earlier days working with us on the fantasy side, your talent and ability to make us laugh always stood out. All the best to you, Michele!
One of the more absurd box scores I have come across:
No. 5 Ellington defeated Hale Ray 1-0 in 14 innings #ctsb
Ellington SP Camryn Fisher: 14IP, 2H, 1BB, 37Ks
Hale Ray SP Lily Jahne: 14IP, 0H, 0ER, 3BB, 33Ks
No program epitomizes mental and physical toughness like Houston. Such an impressive comeback against an incredibly talented Duke squad. The Cougars still have only one loss in regulation this season ... in Game 2 against Auburn nearly 5 months ago.
